Site Navigation Tips We have set up this site for optimal viewing on either Internet Explorer (4) or Netscape Navigator (6). If you are using another browser and are having trouble viewing portions of this site please let us know. We make no guarantees, but we will work to fix the problem if possible. We would be very interested in hearing from Apple users, as we have no access to Apple for purposes of testing the pages of our site. The main page of the freeSwinomish site has been set up so that clicking on a link opens a new browser window. We feel this makes site navigation easier, since the main page remains open while the user checks out the link. Finish with the link and simply close the browser window. (In fact, all links at our site are set up to open a new browser window.) If this is a feature you find annoying, please feel free to let us know. Perhaps we can create a mirror site for those who would appreciate not having this feature. Speaking of mirror sites, if enough requests come in from people having trouble reading text at our site due to the background graphic and text color we may create a text only mirror site. Just let us know if you have any difficulty with this site and we will work to accommodate you. Finally, our webmaster is working on learning css (cascading style sheets) the hot new THING in web page design. The html language he learned just a few short years ago is now apparently dated. So, eventually the pages of our site will be reworked using css. Till then, hopefully we can all live with our site set up as it is…(Anyone with css tips is welcome to pass them along to the webmaster.) |
