Monday September 23rd, 2002 marks the third Annual Native
American Day Celebration held jointly by the Swinomish Tribal
Community, and the Town of LaConner. The event is free to attend,
and includes many activities, such as canoe racing, stick games,
native arts and crafts sales and exhibits, and other fun and
informative activities.This year, the celebration is spread throughout the weekend
with events scheduled below:Friday September 20th
Community Dinner @ 6 PM in Swinomish Gym
Selection of First Annual Swinomish Royalty
9 PM Open Stickgame TournamentSaturday September 21st
SneeOosh Beach @ 12 PM
Registration for Canoe Races and Stick Game Tournament
Canoe Racing begin @ 1 PM
*** 3 PM Stick Game Registration Closes
Swinomish Gym @ 4 PM Stickgame TournamentNOTE: Stick Game Entry Fees-
Adults: $125.00 for 4 to 6 player team
