Fourth World Documentation Project- A part of Center for World Indigenous Studies with links to treaties and other tribal and inter-tribal documents.

Swinomish Tribe- 2001 and the Tribe still doesn't have one! Aw well... Guess freeSwinomish will have to do.

Coquille Indian Tribe- Official site of Oregon's Coquille Tribe.

Swinomish Tribal profile- provided by the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board.

K. Paul Carvings- Site about local Swinomish/Colville carver Kevin Paul. Bio, and sampling of some of his carving work.

Historical

Coast Salish Villages Mapped- Richly detailed site about the locations of various Coast Salish Villages. Very interesting.

Indian Law

Cohen's Handbook of Federal Indian Law- Nifty electronic version of the famous 1945 Felix Cohen tome. Some have called this book the 'Bible of Federal Indian Law.'

Indian Law- Comprehensive site for everyone from lay persons, to practicing attorneys for information dealing with Indian law. 'Features of this site include a list of the best law schools for Indian law, links to researching Indian law issues, and links of organizations related to Indian law.'

The Native American Rights Fund- Legal organization which is a non-profit organization that provides legal representation and technical assistance to Indian tribes, organizations and individuals nationwide. NARF has provided such assistance to the Swinomish Tribe. 

Federal and State

Bureau Of Indian Affairs- B.I.A. (Boss Indians Around) Love them or hate them, here is their web site.

U.S. Department of the Interior- The parent boss of the B.I.A. (Boss Indians Around.)

The White House- Check out what the new president George Bush is up to.

Library of Congress- Pretty self explanatory, tremendous online resource.

Thomas- Congressional legislation on the internet, and hey, they even have roll call voting records! Amazing. (This site is part of the Library of Congress.)

American Indian Heritage Foundation- All kinds of neat and informative things here. Check it out.
